£4.8m CICA award secured by Martin Spencer QC and Nick Peacock
May 2012 - Martin Spencer QC and Nicholas Peacock have secured a £4.8m award for a brain-injured man in an "old-style" CICA claim.
The claim was one of a small cohort of cases left over from pre-tariff days, when CICA claims were calculated on standard common law principles. Nick Peacock had represented the injured claimant since 2004.
Martin and Nick were instructed by Sharon Kinder, Head of Civil Litigation at Dexter Montague LLP.
