Counsel have significant experience of claims arising from the work of surveyors and valuers in a range of contexts, from alleged failures to detect specific defects, overvaluations, reporting errors and issues that arise in relation to contribution claims between solicitors and surveyors.

Members of Chambers have been involved in a number of significant cases involving surveyors. These have included: Nationwide BS v Dunlop Haywards [2010] 1 WLR 258, a lenders’ claim, resulting in fraudulent surveyors being ordered to pay a contribution of £4.5m.
