As of 1st September 2020, Hailsham Chambers has re-opened its doors. The Clerks Room will be staffed on a rota basis during normal office hours and our switchboard will be operating as normal. We have conducted a thorough risk assessment and have introduced a range of safety precautions to maintain the safety of our clients, barristers and staff including hand sanitisiation facilities, cleaning procedures and social distancing in offices and meeting rooms.
Despite the closure of Chambers premises in recent months, Hailsham has continued to serve the needs of our clients offering video and audio client meetings, attending remote hearings and offering online seminars. While restrictions remain in place, we envisage that much of our client contact will remain online but we are delighted to make the first steps back to normality. We will continue to strive to find the most appropriate means of supporting our clients using technology as and when required.
