Alicia Tew speaking at London International Disputes Week 2026

27/05/26

Hailsham Chambers is delighted to be participating in London International Disputes Week (LIDW), taking place between 1 - 5 June 2026. The topic of this year’s LIDW is ‘Tradition, trust and transformation in international dispute resolution' and features keynote speeches and panels from some of the leading global figures from across the industry.

Alicia Tew will be speaking at a member-hosted event on Thursday 4 June, 11.30am - 1.00pm, at the offices of Burges Salmon LLP in a session titled "When the volume claims bubble bursts: Navigating high pressure commercial litigation".

Alicia will be joined by Caroline Brown and Justin Briggs of Burges Salmon.

Session details
When a major commercial dispute erupts in the professional services arena, the impact can be swift, complex, and multi layered. This session uses a high value, multi-party litigation scenario to explore how organisations can manage escalating claims, competing interests, insurance issues and time and business critical decisions — all while keeping commercial relationships intact.

Our panel will examine practical strategies for structuring and co-ordinating large-volume claims, including approaches to alternative dispute resolution, and handling the competing demands and velocity of issues that arise when any bubble suddenly bursts.

Featuring insight from experienced litigators and barristers, the session will offer a pragmatic look at tools, tactics and behaviours that help legal teams navigate the chaos and shape better outcomes.

Further information about this session, including registration details, can be found here.
