Hailsham Chambers is remembering Lady Helen Delves Broughton, our first female tenant and a pioneering figure at the Bar. Helen became a full member of the Inner Temple on her 18th birthday and was called to the Bar in 1951. She later married Sir Delves Broughton in 1955. Helen enjoyed a long and distinguished career and remained closely connected to the Inner Temple throughout her life, contributing greatly to the profession and to those around her. She passed away aged 95, leaving behind an inspiring legacy as a trailblazer for women at the Bar and a valued member of Hailsham Chambers.
