Kitty joined Chambers in July 2026 following the completion of her probationary tenancy. During her probationary tenancy, Kitty received training in clinical negligence work from Nicola Campbell-Clause and in professional liability work from Francis Bacon. Kitty gained experience of drafting and advising in alleged clinical and solicitors’ negligence claims.
Kitty regularly appears in the County Court and has acted in a number of small claims and fast track matters. Kitty is also developing a paperwork and advisory practice and accepts instructions to advise on liability and quantum as well as draft pleadings and civil applications across all of Chambers’ practice areas.
Kitty previously worked as a Senior Associate (employed barrister) in the commercial disputes team at Signature Litigation. Kitty has particular experience in commercial litigation and group action claims.
Kitty completed her pupillage at a criminal law set.
At Signature Litigation, Kitty was part of the team acting for Privinvest in English High Court proceedings brought against it by the Republic of Mozambique. Kitty also acted for partners in a UK private equity firm, along with associated global entities, in a Commercial Court claim alleging diversion of the business opportunity to conduct an asset recovery process on behalf of the family and estate of the late Badri Patarkatsishvili.
Whilst at Signature Litigation, Kitty was part of the team defending Renault in the NOx Emissions Group Litigation.
