Lewis Dunsmure

Lewis is currently undertaking Pupillage under the supervision of David Jukes, previously under Henry Bankes-Jones.

Lewis is working across all Chambers’ practice areas, including those of medical law, professional liability, costs, and commercial disputes.

Prior to pupillage, Lewis worked as a court clerk at Newcastle County Court, assisting Civil and Family judges at County Court and High Court level.

During his studies, he volunteered at Adviceline as a telephone adviser and Rethink Mental Illness as a Relevant Person’s Representative on behalf of individuals lacking mental capacity.

Lewis represented the Middle Temple in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot 2021.

Durham University, Law LLB: Graduated in 2020 with 1st Class Honours.

Northumbria University Bar Course LLM: Graduated in 2021 with a Distinction.
