Fourth edition of the APIL Guide to Clinical Negligence

23/10/25

Hailsham Chambers is delighted to announce the publication of the fourth edition of the APIL Guide to Clinical Negligence, written in collaboration with solicitors Hugh James. Eleven members of chambers contributed 18 chapters to this edition, which was edited by David Juckes.

The book explores key areas of clinical negligence, including medical product claims, human rights claims, and inquests. It provides practical insight into managing complex cases and reflects the latest developments and emerging trends in clinical negligence practice.

To offer a closer look, we have put together a newsletter featuring reflections from the contributors at Hailsham Chambers, which was recently named Clinical Negligence Set of the Year by The Legal 500. We hope you enjoy reading it, and that you find the APIL Guide to Clinical Negligence both informative and useful.
